From the 1st to the 8th of october, we took a break of hectic India and went to the Ashram of Swami Sivananda in south India for a yoga & meditation course. Veg food, no stress, no internet, and of course yoga and meditation twice a day. This was an amazing experience, difficult to put into words. In this calm place we could actually relax and go INWARDS, and charge our batteries for another 2 weeks of amazing but wild India!
We were not allowed to take many pictures, especially in the yoga classes, but we managed to do some in the dining hall and in the day trips:
From here you can see a great hindu temple on an Island, with a giant statue looking over the subcontinent. The temple is really crowded to go in, so we enjoy the beach and the temple from afar.

Around the yoga hall. Most people are foreigners,
but at the end of the week more Indians start to come
In the dinning hall. Sitting in cross-legged position
all the time is not that easy!
With Consuelo (Mexico) and Luisa (Colombia)
enjoying vegan food!
Sunrise meditation at the lake!
Sunset at the ashram!
On friday we have a day off and David
goes to see the elephants. He is enjoying it!
On the same day I go to the southernmost tip of the
indian peninsulaa, Cape Comorin, where the arabian
sea, the Gulf of Mannar and the Indic Ocean meet.
This monument represents the meeting of the 3 oceans
